What’s happening in our nervous system and physical body affects how we think, how we feel, and what we believe. The reverse is also true. Our emotions and thoughts have a direct impact on our physical body. This ongoing conversation between mind and body plays a crucial role in shaping our life experiences.

The good news is that we can support this connection. Mind-body modalities, such as Somatics, Somatic Yoga, and breathwork, allow us to safely explore our internal experience by tuning in, sensing, and feeling. These practices help us rebuild the relationship between body and mind in a way that feels grounded, compassionate, and genuine.

  • Somatics is a method that uses slow movements, breathing exercises, and relaxation to improve physical control, flexibility, and health. It helps you identify and address patterns of tension, stiffness, and stress in your body, allowing it to release and correct these issues.

  • Somatic Yoga is intended to be nourishing and pleasurable. Attention is directed toward your internal experience instead of alignment and aesthetics. It is tailored to your specific needs, making the practice inclusive and accessible for all bodies. You will be met right where you’re at. And depending on your needs, you can start the practice from the floor, a chair, or even from the comfort of your own bed.

  • Breathing is the only automatic process in our bodies that we can control. With every breath, self-empowerment is available to you. Your breath can be one of your most powerful self-healing tools, helping to facilitate massive change from the inside out.

    Join me for a Somatic Reset and refocus and reinvigorate your energy for the rest of the week. This quick class offers subtle yet powerful movement patterns that release pain and stress, guided relaxation, and gentle breathwork practices, allowing you to release and reset.

    When: Every Wednesday at 10 am PST via Zoom
    Exchange: Free to attend, optional donations accepted.
